  2. This picture is amazing! Science is amazing how there can be lightning in clouds as a volcano is erupting.

    ReplyDelete
  3. The reactions between the lava and clouds creating lightning is a perfect example of reactions between two materials.

    ReplyDelete
  4. The picture with the lightning looks really cool with that reaction.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  8. It's amazing that something like the lighting on the volcano can happen. How often does it happen?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Gummy bears and lava are both things that take up space

    ReplyDelete
  10. Lava and gummy bears are both gooey.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It's cool that while a volcano is erupting that there can also be a storm right above the erupting volcano.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Both lava and gummy bears have similar properties such as both having mass, volume, and density.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Lava and gummy bears both have mass and take up space

    ReplyDelete
  19. If lava turns into rock then lava and gummybears will both be solids, they can also both be liquids too. If it is very hot a gummybear will melt. They both also take up space/mass.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  21. Gummy bears and lava can both be easily melted and have mass.

    ReplyDelete
  22. lava and gummy bears are both made up of atoms

    ReplyDelete
  23. ( This is also by Tyson R. He didn't have his computer today.)
The heat from the volcano rose up and created a spark in the clouds creating a strike of lightning.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Gummy bears and lava are both alike because that they both melt with heat. They can also be solids when cold.

  26. There such a difference in the top picture and the bottom picture how the top is so explosive and the bottom is rather peaceful compared to the top picture.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Lava and gummy bears both react under heat and pressure.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Wow, those pictures are outstanding! Also, lava and gummy bears both have mass, volume, and a certain density. They additionally could have similar colors.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Lava and gummy bears are both a slimy substance.

    ReplyDelete
  30. volcanoes are big mountains with a hole that opens to a pool of molten rock below the surface of the earth and then when pressure builds up the volcano then it has a explosion then all the lava starts to rise and flow out of the hole of the volcano.

    ReplyDelete
  31. lava and gummy bears can both harden. Gummy bears can harden by freezing, and lava will eventually turn into rock.

    ReplyDelete
  32. gummy bears and lava can be orange!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Gummy bears and lava both can be orange

    ReplyDelete
  34. Gummy bears and lava can both be liquid and solid

    ReplyDelete
  36. Gummy Bears and lava can both be red and orange.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Gummy Bears and Lava Both kind of shine out when compared to other dark colors such as black

    ReplyDelete
  38. Lava and gummy bears can both be different colors

    ReplyDelete
  39. Gummy bears and lava are the same state of matter their both liquid, solid, and gas.

    ReplyDelete
  40. with a good amount gummy bears and lava can both kill you.

    ReplyDelete
  41. One volcano is spitting out lava, while the other is more peaceful.(flowing lava instead of spitting lava.)

    ReplyDelete
  42. One aspect that gummy bears and lava have in common is that they can melt due to heat. Both gummy bears and lava can also harden due to cold. Another thing that they might have in common is texture or density.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Gummy Bears and Lava can both be liquids and solids.

    ReplyDelete
  44. They can be the same color and they both take up space

    ReplyDelete
  45. Gummy bears and lava will both harden over time with cold.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Gummy Bears and lava can both become solids and liquids.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Gummy bears and lava both are matter, and they are both solids at some point.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Gummy Bears and Lava can be the same color.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Gummy bears and lava can both be found on google

    ReplyDelete
  51. Gummy Bears and Lava are not gas.

    ReplyDelete
  52. they both can change form with heat

    ReplyDelete
  53. gummy bears and lava can both become dense and the first volcano is rather exquisite and the second volcano is boring.

    ReplyDelete
  54. It is fascinating how volcanoes are so high up in the sky that the eruptions cause friction between the clouds and smoke and produces lighting. As we continue our study of this land form, a question I have is how volcanoes can build up to such high points in the sky when most of these land forms are under bodies of water.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Both gummy bears and lava start as a liquid then later become a solid

    ReplyDelete
  56. gummy bears and lava both have a mushy gooey substance like feel

    ReplyDelete
  57. Gummy bears and lava can both melt and they have a slimy and goey substance.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Lava and Gummy Bears can both cause health issues, Lava can cause to much heat to the human body, and Gummy Bears can hurt your teeth and give cavities.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Gummy bears and lava both have a certain amount of mass and density. Also they can both turn to be hard, gummy bears from freezing and lava turns into rock overtime.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Lava from a volcano and a gummy bear can be similar because of many reasons. One reason is because they may share the same color, such as orange or red. Also, both lava and a gummy bear can harden if they are left alone for a period of time.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Gummy bears and lava can both become solid (or harden) when exposed to cold temperatures. Also, then can both become gooey when exposed to heat.

    ReplyDelete
  62. lava and gummy bears both have mass and volume.

    ReplyDelete
  63. it's ya boy. gummy bears are gooey like lava.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Both of the Volcanoes are high in the sky and the friction from the clouds and the smoke is creating lightning

    ReplyDelete
  65. If you really think about it gummy bears and lava have similarities. Both lava and gummy bears harden over time. Also, they both can be calculated by their mass, volume, and density!

    ReplyDelete
  66. They both act as the same if you were to make a volcano out of gummy bears (combining gummy bears with volcanos the would act relatively the same because of the some same things and that lava and gummy bears are about the same.

    ReplyDelete
  67. they both have mass

    ReplyDelete
  68. Compare volcanoes:

Both of these volcanoes are erupting and are causing different reactions in the weather.

    ReplyDelete
  69. They both are made up of matter and have mass.

    ReplyDelete
  70. They both act the same because gummy bears can melt and become a lava like substance and move like lava, and then both harden back over time and they both have mass and volume.

    ReplyDelete
  71. There are many ways that Gummy Bears and Lava can compare. One of which being that they can go from being a liquid to a form of a solid, and this change occurs when there is a change in temperatures.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Lava and gummy bears were liquids at one point.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Both gummy bears and lava are made up of mass and take up space. However gummy bears don't take up as much space as volcanoes. All volcanoes are different and are found in different locations around the world.

    ReplyDelete
  74. they both have mass

    ReplyDelete
  75. The first volcano has a storm over it and the second has snow. Gummy bears and lava have in common because they are both gooey.

    ReplyDelete
  76. The volcanoes are a little different because of the shape and size. Also, the top volcano has more smoke and lava, it also has lightning but the bottom one doesn't.

The thing that gummy bears and volcanoes have in common is that they both have a squishy center

    ReplyDelete
  77. The first volcano has a lot going on, such as splashing lava, and lightning. The second volcano is much more calm, with just lava sliding down the side with smoke.

    ReplyDelete
  78. They both can become a liquid or a solid when there is a change of temperature.

    ReplyDelete
  79. they both have mass and volume and are GOOEY!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Gummy bears and lava are related because they are gooey when they melt (gummy bears)or stay the same (lava)

    ReplyDelete
  81. They are both very squishy and will harden over time except the fact that you wouldn't eat lava because its really really hot

    ReplyDelete
  82. What gummy bears and lava have in common is that they can both change states of matter. For an example liquidy lava can become a hard rock, or gummy bears can melt.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Volcano Comparison

Mt.Etna is covered in snow while the other volcano looks black and lifeless. Also Mt. Etna is erupting with less BOOM than the other volcano, and the lava flows along the side of the volcano instead of flying in every direction.

    ReplyDelete
  84. The Sakurajima volcano seems to have erupted with more force, with little or no surface lava except form the lava/flaming particles falling, with a fountain of lighter lava/falming particles spewing out. The particles released may have been electrically charged, causing the lightning. Although it is difficult to tell with Etna, the lava seems more liquid, with little or no fountain, but instead has a large flame

    ReplyDelete
  85. A similarity is that i like them both

    ReplyDelete
  86. I am comparing gummy bears and lava. What they both have in common is that they are both made of matter and mass. They also both weight something.

    ReplyDelete
  87. both of them are erupting in diffent ways

    ReplyDelete
  88. Gummy bears and lava both have in common that they both have mass and take up space. Also gummy bears can melt to make it look similar to lava.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Gummy bears are alike lava because the bears can melt and make a liquid like substance moving and looking like each other. Also they both have mass.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I think gummy bears and volcanoes compare because volcanos spew lava and lava cools and is gewey just like a gummy bear

    ReplyDelete
  91. Gummy bears and lava can both harden of a period of time and also be a liquid of a period of time.

    ReplyDelete
  92. The both can melt and turn in to a liquid and the can harden and make a soild

    ReplyDelete
  93. when the lava comes out of a volcano it will get a little hard on the outside and on the inside it will be gooey like a gummy bear.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Both gummy bears and lava take up space and have mass.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Gummy bears and lava both take up space

    ReplyDelete
  96. The comparrison to gummy bears and lava is that they both take up space and they both contain mass. They also are red and orange just like the lava's color.

    ReplyDelete
  97. What volcanoes and gummy bears have in common is that both can change there state of matter as were a volcano can harden up and a gummy bear can melt.

    ReplyDelete
  98. gummy bears and lava have one thing in common, they both have mass and take up space.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Lava and gummy bears are in common because they can both melt.

    ReplyDelete
  100. lava is liquid and gummy bears are solid

    ReplyDelete
  101. Lava and gummy bears can both be melted to a liquid and hardened to a solid.

    ReplyDelete
  110. They both take up mass

    ReplyDelete
  111. They can both be orange

    ReplyDelete
  112. Gummy bears can harden when it is old or exposed to the air. Lava can also harden when it is not hot anymore.
